Rafael Nadal is the cream of the crop when it comes to the sport of Tennis. He is a household name and has continued to defy all odds with his age, playing at such a high level. He has looked insane on the clay courts, slashing through his competition with his most notable match against the World's No. 1 Novak Djokovic. He absolutely dominated Novak, which is very uncanny, breaking him nine times in four sets.

Let's dive into my prediction, best bets, and the odds for Sunday's Men's French Open final.

Rafael Nadal vs. Casper Ruud Prediction

I'd like to believe Nadal has plenty left in the tank with the remainder of his career, but we never know so I will be enjoying every second of this match. He will be fully prepared come Sunday and I see him leaving it all out in France.

Now let's get to his opponent, Casper Ruud, who is very worthy of being in this spot. Fresh off winning the Geneva Open two weeks ago and currently holds a 10-match winning streak, he will be coming to face his toughest test yet.

This will be the first meeting between these two competitors so it will be interesting to see how they feel each other out early on. Casper has had some hurdles leading up to this point, but he has done just enough to be here. He has battled some strong competition like Cilic, Rune, and Hurkacz, who are all fierce competition. I think he knows what he has to do against an opponent like Nadal, but I am just not sure he will be able to do it.

This leads me to my first Tennis article Play of the Day. Nadal is a heavy favorite in this one as expected with the money line set at -575. The spread is reasonable though with Nadal laying -6.5 -125 against Ruud in a best out of five matches. I am going with pure value with both of my plays and my first one is "Rafael Nadal to win and for both players to win a set at +150". I am also going with the Over 34 games, I expect both players to go back and forth with their strong serves. I can easily see this reaching four sets so, with that in mind, the over is the obvious choice here.
