Taylor Fritz is so due for a major win, and he has excelled on pretty much all courts this year but just always comes up short. One thing I do know about Taylor is he usually plays to his skill level.
That being said, he will always play his hardest with the elite tennis-class players. It could be a physiological thing, but he always seems to struggle against the newcomers or someone he “should” beat on paper. This brings me to Jakub Mensik, who is rolling right now on hard courts, winning five straight matches. He is 18 years old and has a bright future ahead of him in tennis.
