New York Yankees vs. Toronto Blue Jays Prop Pick: Can Carlos Rodon Limit the Blue Jays?
The New York Yankees travel to Toronto tonight to take on the Blue Jays for the first game of a four-game series. The Yankees will send Carlos Rodon to the mound as they look to get back in the win column after losing each of their last three games.

New York Yankees vs. Toronto Blue Jays Prediction
In his last outing, Rodon had his worst game of the season completely unraveling against an Atlanta Braves offense that was able to managed 11 hits and seven runs against him. Rodon was visibly upset in the dugout after the Yankees went to the bullpen and he'll be eager to get back on track with an extended outing tonight. He will have a great opportunity to do just that against a Toronto Blue Jays offense that has struggled mightily against left-handed pitchers.
Over the last month, the Blue Jays rank dead last in wRC+ (56), 29th in batting average (.198), and dead last in isolated-power (.056) when facing off against left-handed pitchers. They have also allowed seven of the last ten left-handed starters to record 18+ outs. Up until his last outing, Rodon had been a steady piece to the Yankees pitching staff and I'm expecting a bounce back performance from him in this plus matchup.
The Yankees got 4.1 innings from Luis Gil yesterday and 4.0 innings from Gerrit Cole on Tuesday so they can definitely benefit from an extended outing from Rodon tonight. With this being the first game of the series, a 6+ inning outing from Rodon would do wonders in keeping the Yankees bullpen fresh so they can end the month of June on a high note. Give me the over on Carlos Rodon's over 17.5 pitching props tonight in Toronto which is a mark he's hit in nine of his last 12 starts.
