Minnesota Twins vs. Seattle Mariners Prediction: Will Bailey Ober Struggle Against Mariners Lineup?
The Minnesota Twins take on the Mariners tonight in Seattle for the first game of a 3-game series to end the month of June. The Twins come into this game on a roll winning four of their last five games. Bailey Ober will take the mound for Minnesota in this series opener and the prop I'm targeting is the total on his 17.5 pitching outs.

Minnesota Twins vs. Seattle Mariners Prediction
Ober is fresh off two of his best starts of the season which includes his first career complete game against the Oakland Athletics. The reason I'm taking his under today is because he is facing a Seattle Mariners offense that averages the highest pitches per plate appearance (4.06) of any team this season. Of the last nine right-handed pitchers the Mariners have faced, only 1 was able to record 18+ outs against them. They do a tremendous job at extended at-bats which can run up pitch counts in a hurry.
Ober isn't a guy that typically throws 100+ pitches, in fact, he's thrown less than 90 in four of his last five starts. Over the last month, statistically, Seattle is pretty much middle of the pack across the board when facing off with opposing right-handed pitchers. The Mariners' offense hasn't lit up the score board this season, but they are extremely pesky at the plate. Ober faced them once this season back on May 30, and despite only giving up two earned runs, he recorded 15 outs because his pitch count was already approaching the 90's after the 5th inning.
Tonight, I'm expecting a similar result as the Mariners should make him work for every out. Bailey Ober has had an up and down season through his first 15 starts of the year. He's coming off two of his best starts of the season, and I expect him to have a harder time in this one. Give me the under.
