The Cardinals are sending out right-handed pitcher Miles Mikolas tonight, which brings me to a bet I love on Jonathan India. Jonathan India had a slow start to the season, batting .213 And April and .220 in May. However, he is batting .368 in June with a 1.003 OPS and has been absolutely on fire. His recent performance has landed him in the leadoff spot for the last week for the Reds, which is why I love him to go over 1.5 Hits+Runs+RBIs tonight.
Jonathan India is leading his team with a .375 batting average against right hand pitching over the last two weeks. He also has a good history against Miles Mikolas, going 6–19 with three home runs against Mikolas in his career. He also only has three strikeouts in his 21 plate appearances against him. With India leading off over the last week, if he is able to get on at the top of the order, he has plenty of guys behind him to bring him in like Elly De La Cruz, Spencer Steer, and Tyler Stephenson.
India has now had multiple hits in five straight games and is riding an eight-game hit streak overall. With how badly Miles Mikolas has been struggling this season, I expect the hottest bat on the Reds roster to get to him and either touch home plate or maybe even bring in a run if he gets up with runners on.
