Philadelphia Phillies vs. Detroit Tigers Pick

I don’t see the Phillies losing this series. Detroit won last game and if they win Game 3 then they would win the series. It’s a bullpen day for the Tigers and their pen has been far from the unit we saw at the beginning of the season.

Philadelphia Phillies vs. Detroit Tigers Prediction

Phillies are a World Series contender and Detroit is a team scratching and clawing to go .500. Spencer Turnbull is on the mound for Philly and this is his return against his former team. He pitched well enough to remains starter and got moved to the pen this season. He has added motivation from every angle to shove today. Phillies should be over -200 favorites today in my opinion.

Our juice reducer is Trea Turner to not homer. It’s weird but it significantly reduced the odds from -166 to -115. Turner only has three homers all year and has a 37 of 40 hit rate. Comerica Park isn’t the most hitter friendly park so I don’t imagine him getting one here unless for whatever reason Tigers put Joey Wentz out there.

This feels like a good one today. Let's roll!!
