Well, we are heading back to the diamond for some Tuesday night action and I am ready to lock in full focus on baseball and golf now that the NHL season is over; sad to see it go but at least we came out on top!
Tonight I want to head to the Motor City as the Philadelphia Phillies are in town to clash with the Detroit Tigers in the second game of this three game series and I like the Phillies to keep things rolling here.

Philadelphia Phillies vs. Detroit Tigers Prediction
On Monday night, the Phils crushed in an 8-1 victory behind Aaron Nola and the bats got going early and never gave up the lead. I think we have a chance to see a similar performance from the boys tonight.
Tarik Skubal has the rock for the Tigers and he has been excellent this season. He will test the Philly bats without question but they are one of the most consistently dominant teams in the league for a reason, they don't care who they face. Skubal has had success against this lineup in the past and I'm sure they want to get some licks in against him.
On the flip side, Ranger Suarez has the ball and he has been absolutely terrific this season. The Phillies southpaw is 10-1 with a 1.75 ERA and a 0.89 WHIP, truly remarkable numbers and I don't expect regression here tonight.
I will bite on this squad at a good price virtually every time you give them to me, especially with the hottest arm in the rotation, and probably the league, on the mound.
