We have a 12 game Monday MLB Slate and I have two longshot plays that I love for today. I am looking to target both Jarred Kelenic of the Atlanta Braves and Julio Rodriguez of the Seattle Mariners tonight. I love the value can't pass it up.

Leg 1: (ATL) Jarred Kelenic to Hit a Home Run
Jarred Kelenic will see St. Louis Cardinals righty Lance Lynn today. Lance Lynn has struggled against left-handed batters over the last few seasons. Last season he allowed lefties to hit .291 with a .550 slugging percentage and 24 home runs.He has been slightly better this season only allowing six home runs so far with a .279 batting average and .455 slugging percentage. Lance's top three pitches to lefties are his 4-seam fastball, cutter and sinker, all of which are pitches Kelenic has hit well this season. Below are his numbers against righties against them:
- against 4-Seam Fastball: .304 xBA | .613 xSLG with three home runs in 64 plate appearances
- against Cutter: .346 xBA | .492 xSLG with one home run in 14 plate appearances
- against Sinker: .311 xBA | .569 xSLG
Kelenic has hit three home runs in his last eight games and I think he can make it four in nine games after today.
Leg 2: Julio Rodriguez to Hit a Home Run
Julio Rodriguez gets a matchup with Rays righty, Taj Bradley who is a pitcher that has allowed some hard contact this season. He ranks in the first percentile in barrel percentage and has allowed five home run in 21 Innings against right-handed batters so far. He has also allowed a .264 xBA and .549 xSLG to righties which is not great. His top three pitches to right-handed batters is his 4-seam fastball, cutter and splitter.
