Best MLB Home Run Bets: Lock In This Expert's Best MLB Player Prop Bets for Wednesday

Although we got a couple of extra-base hits yesterday, none of our three hitters came through with a home run.

Let's see if we can add one with today's three home run props!

May 1 Best MLB Home Run Props

Elly De La Cruz to Hit a Home Run (+500) CLICK HERE TO SEE WHICH SPORTSBOOK HAS THE BEST ODDS

Joe Musgrove will pitch for the Padres today. Although he's had some really good seasons with the Padres, this year hasn't been one of them.

Musgrove has allowed a .258 ISO and wOBA to his first 142 batters faced this season. Against lefties, he's allowed a .234 ISO and wOBA of .414 with only 18.5% of strikeouts.

In addition, he's allowed 29.7% of line drives to lefties and has allowed a 10.8% barrel percentage.

Meanwhile, he'll face Elly De La Cruz of the Reds, who has smacked a .251 ISO and wOBA of .369 against righties since last year. De La Cruz is a high strikeout hitter, but with Musgrove struggling to find a putaway pitcher, De La Cruz has an advantage heading into today's game.

Let's back Elly De La Cruz to go deep.

Evan Carter to Hit a Home Run (+500) CLICK HERE TO SEE WHICH SPORTSBOOK HAS THE BEST ODDS

Although Trevor Williams has held lefties to a .114 ISO to begin the season, I'm still not sold that he'll be able to prevent Evan Carter from hitting a bomb tonight.

Carter has smashed a .339 ISO and wOBA of .424 against his first 150 righties. He's also hit 29% of line drives and 45.2% of hard contact with a 9.7% barrel percentage as a lefty against righties.

Meanwhile, Williams has allowed 31.4% of line drives to lefties this season and has induced only 34.3% of ground balls. Last season, Williams even allowed a .209 ISO and a wOBA of .377 to 352 lefties.

Carter has elite numbers against righties, and Williams typically struggles against lefties.

Kyle Tucker to Hit a Home Run (+425) CLICK HERE TO SEE WHICH SPORTSBOOK HAS THE BEST ODDS

Kyle Tucker has smashed a .210 ISO and wOBA of .365 against righties since last season. He's also struck out just 14.7% of the time against righties since last year while hitting 33% of fly balls and 49% of hard contact.

Tonight, he's in line to take on Triston McKenzie of the Guardians. McKenzie has already allowed a .196 ISO and wOBA of .357 to his first 61 lefties. He's also allowed nearly 30% of fly balls and has induced only 34.1% of ground balls to lefties.

Beyond that, McKenzie has only struck out 13.1% of lefties this season and continues to struggle to find the zone with high walks.

We obviously don't want Tucker to get walked. But if he constantly falls behind batters, Tucker and the rest of the Astros will have some good hitting counts throughout the night. I like that!
