Panama vs. Jamaica Prediction
One of my favorite games to target is this Jamaica matchup, where it looks like they are being undervalued by the market. They are facing off against Panama, who are a young team that hasn’t gotten off to a strong start. While Jamaica may not have had the highest expectations coming into the tournament, they did start off with a bang. They held the fifth-ranked French team to a 0-0 tie.
Panama had some good defensive pedigree but have lost their last three international matchups by a combined 16-0 score. They are a young team, and it seems like they’re will be plenty of scoring opportunities. This is a very experienced and well-rounded team they are facing, and it will be an uphill battle.
Jamaica struggled on offense against France, getting destroyed in terms of possession, but it was definitely a good sign that their defense was strong despite the time of possession. Additionally, they lost their leading goal scorer and captain Khadija Shaw to a late red card. They will have to call upon former Florida state standout Jody Brown and Chenya Matthews to step up.
I’ll be backing the Jamaican side to continue their strong defense and knock one in against a struggling Panama defense. I also do like the no option on “both teams to score,” but at -185 you're going to want a parlay piece. I added U3.5 total goes in the Switzerland-New Zealand matchup to get it to even money. I also sprinkled on the total under at u1.5 +155.
