Croatia vs. Morocco Prediction
Croatia ended their group in second place behind Morocco. They beat Japan and Brazil on penalties before they lost 3-0 against Argentina in the semi-finals just a few days ago. They did not create a lot of chances and looked very tired. They don't have a young team and after playing 120 + minutes two matches in a row it's not a big surprise that they looked very tired. I expect them to make some changes in this match, maybe they are going to bench Modric, or I at least don't expect him to play the full match.
Morocco won their group and that was a surprise because they were in a group with Croatia and Belgium and ended up above both of them. They then won against Spain and Portugal before they lost 2-0 against France. They look very good defensively and only let in one goal before the semi-finals and that was an own goal. They showed that they can create some big chances when they needed them against France but missed out on some very big chances.
These two teams have already played against each other and the first match ended 0-0 and was a boring match in my opinion. But I think we will get a different match here. I think we will see a Moroccan team who's more offensive focused and I expect them to score a goal, and I think they at least will get a draw today. Croatia looked very tired against Argentina and I think they still are tired and I expect some changes for them.
