It's no surprise that France are in the World Cup semifinals. They won their group easily and didn't have many problems against not much problems against Poland. They played an okay match against England and ended up winning 2-1. They did not look very good defensively. France had some very weird defending and ended up giving away two penalties to England and they could've given up more. They look much better offensively. Kylian Mbappe and Olivier Giroud are in really good form right now. I don't see anyone being able to stop Mbappe in the form he is in now.
Morocco have surprised everyone so far and no one expected them to be in the World Cup semifinals. They won over Spain on penalties and won 1-0 against Portugal in the quarterfinals. Morocco looks very good defensively and have only let in one goal and that was against Canada when they were up 2-0 and it was an own goal. They have kept a clean sheet against Croatia, Belgium, Spain, and Portugal. That is very very impressive. They played a perfect match against Portugal. Portugal struggled a lot and did not create much. It's very tough to play against this Moroccan team.
Morocco is very good defensively and the first African team to reach the semifinals of the World Cup. But it's gonna end here, I don't see them having a chance against this France team. Yes, they have played well but I don't see how they can stop Mbappe, Giroud, and Ousmane Dembele today. France just has too much quality and has players who are going to be able to open up the defense and the midfield. Antoine Griezman has been very good in his new position, and he gonna be the key to open up the game.
