Best Bets Today: Tuesday's MLB Hit Parlay from Calling Our Shot
Welcome to the daily hit parlay, brought to you by Calling Our Shot. Yesterday, our longshot parlay flopped. We don't do longshots. We do two leg hit parlays. Staying in our lane today and doing what we do best: a two leg hit parlay winner!
TUESDAY'S HIT PARLAY
LEG 1: STEVEN KWAN (CLE) TO RECORD A HIT
Our first leg of the hit parlay: Steven Kwan. Kwan has been great for our bankrolls as he continues to rake on the field and in our hit parlays. Kwan has a hit in three out of his last four games and gets a great matchup against Chris Flexen today.
Kwan is batting a ridiculous .353 against righties this season and we have to roll with him once again. We love hitters who put the ball in play and don’t walk a lot and Kwan fits that description. Kwan bats in the leadoff spot and gets several opportunities to get a hit against Flexen and the terrible White Sox bullpen.
LEG 2: GUNNAR HENDERSON (BAL) TO RECORD A HIT
Our second leg of the hit parlay: Gunnar Henderson. There are few players in baseball that have been bigger allies to our Parlays than Gunnar has been this year. Today, we roll with him on the road against George Kirby.
What we love about Kirby: he throws strikes. One of the lowest walk rates in the MLB. Gunnar is 3 for 7 (.429) lifetime against Kirby. Gunnar is batting .300 against Right Handed Pitching, while Kirby is struggling more against Lefties. Henderson is also coming off a game on Sunday Night Baseball where he went 0-4 with four strikeouts. That was also the day after his birthday…so I can’t blame the 23 year old much. Today, he delivers…potentially in his first AB.
