UFC 303: Ian Machado Garry vs. Michael Page Odds, Date, How to Watch, and Predictions for UFC 303

The UFC returns to its home at the Las Vegas T-Mobile Arena for International Fight Week, as UFC 303 is now just days away. A late change at the top of the card has swapped Conor McGregor vs. Michael Chandler for a light heavyweight title fight, as Alex Pereira takes on Jiri Prochazka in the main event.

In what many, including myself, think should be the co-main event, two rising European welterweights will get the main card started, as Ian Machado Garry takes on Michael “Venom” Page. Let’s take a closer at where the odds sit midweek, both fighter's recent form, and who I like to come out victorious in this one.

Ian Machado Garry vs. Michael Page Date, Time, and Where to Watch

  • When: June 29th, 2024, 10:00 p.m. ET / 7:00 p.m. PT
  • Where: T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas, NV

Ian Machado Garry vs. Michael Page UFC 303 Prediction

Ian Machado Garry (14-0-0)

In his biggest win to date, earlier this year, Garry moved to 14-0 with a split decision win over Geoff Neal at UFC 298. Moving his record in the UFC 7-0, Garry was supposed to fight Colby Covington before an injury forced Covington to withdraw and instepped MVP.

Michael Page (22-2-0)

After a successful career in the fighting promotion Bellator, Page made his debut with the UFC in March, beating Kevin Holland in a decisive fashion. A karate and kickboxing specialist, Page is a nightmare in terms of stylistic matchups, and will easily be Garry’s toughest test to date.

Ian Machado Garry vs. Michael Page Pick

Despite being the same height, Page comes into this fight with a five-inch reach advantage over Garry, and I think could give him the same frustrations that he gave Holland a few months ago. MVP’s clear path to victory in this one is to keep it on the feet, as trouble could arise if Garry can take advantage of his grappling advantage in this matchup.

Absorbing just 1.6 significant strikes per minute, I like for Page to avoid any major damage in this one and grind out what will likely be a five-round fight.

Pick: Michael Page (+120) at DraftKings Sportsbook
