Super Bowl 58 Touchdown Scorer Picks: Make Sure You Back This First TD Scorer Pick
With just one game left this season in the NFL, we have to take some long-shot props in the big game. There are the fun exotic props like the coin toss and Gatorade color, but I'm going for a less exotic play with a first touchdown scorer. While the prop itself is less exotic, I'm still going for a less commonly spoken name this week.

SUPER BOWL 58 PREDICTION
The player I'm picking for the first touchdown is Justin Watson. Watson is +4000 to score the first touchdown in the Super Bowl, and I love the 40-to-1 odds on him. While others are looking at Christian McCaffrey, Travis Kelce, and George Kittle, I'm looking at the Chief's wideout who was second in receiving yards for wide receivers on the Chiefs this year.
While Rashee Rice is the No. 1 wide receiver target, He only had four more touchdowns than Watson's three this year. Rice had 22 targets in the red zone this season and Watson had six. Watson turned 50% of those into touchdowns, though, while only six of Rice's 22 were for touchdowns.
Skyy Moore has been activated off the injured reserve, but he will probably be activated just for depth and will not get a lot of snaps/targets. That leaves Rice and Watson as the predominant targets out wide. However, Rice will have a lot of defensive attention, as well as Travis Kelce. They also have MUCH lower odds to score first and anytime.
Watson is a deep threat, and if the Chiefs get a first down around the 40 and decide to take a shot downfield to start the game off with a big play, there's a good chance it is to Watson. I'll take 40-to-1 odds that he can get it done and have the first score of the Super Bowl.
