I think this game is a toss up and will likely be close. I think this one could come down to a late field goal so I love buying some extra points and getting Kansas City at +3.5. Isiah Pacheco will get 40 yards if the game is this close so these are correlated for the most part.
Super Bowl 58 Predictions
I will say this, San Francisco beats Kansas City at most battles of position. With that being said, I just trust Patrick Mahomes more than Brock Purdy. I'm far from a Purdy hater, I actually think he is unfairly scrutinized and called a game manager far too often. Mahomes is just a different breed though and he and Travis Kelce have so much experience in big games like this, I expect them to be unfazed.
Pacheco has 40+ rush yards in ten straight games and this feels like a perfect juice reducer against a San Francisco team that allowed two running backs and a receiver to hit this against them last week on the ground.
This is the hardest Super Bowl to pick a side on in years but I think Mahomes may be the new Tom Brady. You will hear lots of “that’s why you don’t bet against Mahomes” if Kansas City pulls it off. Let's roll!
