Well, we are finally here. The best and worst day of football season has arrived, Super Bowl Sunday. The absence of the NFL from our lives over the next handful of months will be sad, but we couldn't ask for a better way to cap it off. Two true juggernauts are clashing today in Super Bowl LVIII as the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers will square off is Las Vegas for what should be an incredible show.

I have gone back and fourth on this all week and I believe the indecisiveness is validated. San Francisco is the better team on paper, without question; I'd go as far as saying they have twice the talent across the board. Their roster is full of superstars featuring Christian McCaffrey, Deebo Samuel, Brandon Aiyuk, Fred Warner, Chase Young, Nick Bosa, and George Kittle.
With that said, Kansas City having the edge in every position is a massive one. Kyle Shanahan is a wizard, a phenomenal head coach with great scripting, game flow, he's got all of it. He took Brock Purdy and turned him into a field manager that has excelled on this team and don't knock Purdy himself, he's a dawg.
There is no greater duo than that of Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes. It takes serious nuts to fade a man that is 10-1-1 against the spread as an underdog and a head coach with nearly three decades of excellence and already holds the reputation as one of the greatest the league has ever seen. Travis Kelce, Isiah Pacheco and Harrison Butker are all great supporting cast members and the Chiefs defense has looked really good.
I am going to do this one more time and if I am wrong I won't do it again, we're fading Kansas City. They posses intangibles that make them elite and they can easily win this but with two weeks to prepare and the overall strength of the 49ers roster, I trust they do what they need to do today. I think Kansas City will have to be uber methodical without the playmakers they are somewhat used to having in big games and the 49ers show out.
