When looking at the Tennessee Titans vs Houston Texans player prop picks there are two plays that stand out to our guy, Gray Gutfreund.

Tennessee Titans vs. Houston Texans Player Prop Picks: Brandin Cooks Gets Cookin'

The Tennesse Titans have some meaningful football to play in Week 18, while the Texans are here to play spoiler. Tennessee can lock in the first seed in the AFC, which would grant the Titans a first-round bye in the postseason. With superstar running back Derrick Henry due to return soon, a bye and home-field advantage would do wonders for Tennessee's super bowl chances.

The connection between rookie quarterback Davis Mills and veteran wideout Brandin Cooks has strengthened down the stretch and could get in Tennessee's way in Week 18.

Texans vs Titans odds

Brandin Cooks Over 64.5 Receiving Yards (-110 @ FanDuel)

Brandin Cooks has bounced around the NFL quite a bit throughout his career. The Texans are the fourth team he's played for in eight seasons and he's now posted back-to-back productive campaigns in Houston. In fact, all Cooks does is produce and it doesn't matter where he goes or who he plays with.

Cooks has posted a 1,000-yard season with five different quarterbacks. After playing at a pro bowl caliber level with Drew Brees, Tom Brady, Jared Goff, and Deshaun Watson, the eighth-year receiver has over a thousand yards this season despite playing with a combination of Tyrod Taylor and Davis Mills.

The former first-round draft pick has hit this over in three straight games. Cooks has at least 7 receptions and 65 receiving yards in each of his last three games. He's been one of the lone bright spots for Houston and should continue to shine in a friendly matchup against the Titans this week.

Tennessee has conceded the third-most receiving yards and the most receptions to opposing wide receivers this season. Opponents are throwing 37.2 times per game against the Titans, good for the fourth-most in the league. Cooks has seen double-digit targets in three straight weeks and has a terrific opportunity to make it four straight against a pass-funnel defense this week.

Cooks is averaging 76.3 receiving yards per game in home games this season, a boost from his 59.6 YPG on the road. Playing in Houston's indoor stadium in a game where Mills should be throwing plenty, Cooks is in a great position to close the season with a bang.

Randy Bullock Over 1.5 Field Goals Made (-115 @ DraftKings)

Tennesee's kicker has had a successful season on his 6th NFL team. The Cincinnati Bengals cut Bullock after a four-year stint with the team. And, with just one make tomorrow, he will have converted more field goals this season than in any of his Cincinnati seasons.

Bullock has made a pair of field goals in four straight contests. He's hit this over in 10 of 15 games this season and is averaging 1.7 makes and 2.0 attempts per game.

Meanwhile, Houston is allowing the 11th most made field goals and has been an average Red Zone defense this season. These numbers clearly do not indicate a difficult matchup or anything that would prevent Bullock from getting scoring opportunities in a crucial game for Tennesee.

The Texans have given up 3 field goals made in three straight games and have given up multiple FGM in five of their last six games. Tennessee's team total is set at an over/under of 26.5 points and they should find themselves in scoring position often against the 7th-worst scoring defense in football. Look for Bullock to knock a pair of field goals through the uprights in Tennessee's regular season finale.
