Denver Broncos vs. Cincinnati Bengals Player Prop Picks: Should You Fade Joe Burrow?
Denver Broncos vs. Cincinnati Bengals Player Prop Picks: Should You Fade Joe Burrow?
The AFC Wild-Card race is absolutely bonkers this season, featuring five different teams coming into Week 15 with a 7-6 record. The Cincinnati Bengals and the Denver Broncos are in the thick of the playoff race, as each squad moved to 7-6 after last week’s results. This matchup could have some major implications, as the winner would be on track to secure a trip to the postseason, while the loser’s road to the postseason would become exponentially more difficult.
For a crucially important matchup in Denver, let’s dive into my two favorite player props from these postseason hopefuls. Let’s ride!

Joe Burrow Over 0.5 Interceptions (-130)

Joe Burrow is one of the best young quarterbacks in the NFL. However, he has been unbelievably mistake-prone in his sophomore campaign. Burrow has thrown 14 interceptions in 13 games this season, with last week’s turnover-free performance coming as a massive rarity for the Cincy quarterback in 2021.
In 13 games this season, Joey B has thrown a pick in nine of them. Now, let’s look at the four games where he didn’t throw the ball to the opposition. Burrow threw zero interceptions against the Jaguars, Raiders, 49ers, and Vikings. These are some of the worst secondaries in the NFL this season, with the first three listed teams ranking bottom six in interceptions. The Vikings are the only one of the four with more than six interceptions on the season. Simply put, Burrow has played turnover-free football against his weakest opponents. The Broncos are not, by any means, a weak opponent.
Denver has 12 interceptions this season and ranks as a top-eight pass defense. More importantly, they’re heating up at the right time. The Broncos have an interception in each of their last six games, with eight total picks during this stretch. Patrick Mahomes, Justin Herbert, and Dak Prescott have recently had abysmal performances against the Broncos, and Burrow could be the next talented quarterback to struggle against Denver.
The league leader in interceptions is on the road against one of the NFL’s hottest secondaries. This sounds like a recipe for a Joe Burrow interception, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he throws a pair of picks this Sunday.
