It took a lot out of me not to take a LeBron James prop but my gut it telling me this is a winner. Austin Reaves loves the bright lights, he has hit this in seven straight playoff games dating back to last year and should get plenty of good looks with both LeBron and Anthony Davis active.

Los Angeles Lakers vs. New Orleans Pelicans Prediction

Reaves loves playing New Orleans. Reaves has 17+ in all four games against them this year and has 20+ in his last three games against them. We need 15 tonight which isn’t asking for anything too out of the ordinary, this is a number he routinely hits when the Lakers are at full strength and he’s seeing favorable looks.

This game should remain close and Reaves should see big minutes due to the stake of the game. If Los Angeles wins they are guaranteed in the main playoffs. They want this win sooner than later so they can have the most possible rest to gear up for some seven game series. The Pelicans don’t defend the catch and shoot well and LeBron has shown he will draw double teams and hit the open man, let's hope on a few instances that Reaves is that open man. Let's roll!
