NBA Playoffs Props Tonight: 2 Player Props to Target for 76ers vs. Celtics Game 6 (5/11)

The Philadelphia 76ers have the Boston Celtics on the ropes as they head back to Philly for Game 6 tonight. The Sixers stole two games in a row after going down 2-1 in the series and have capitalized off of a surprisingly great stretch from James Harden.

Philadelphia is a 2-point home underdog as they try to reach the Eastern Conference Finals for the first time since 2001. Tonight's contest tips off at 7:30 PM ET, and the only thing standing in their way is Jayson Tatum.

Let's jump into today's picks!

The Boston Celtics are facing elimination on the road tonight, which is a familiar situation for Jayson Tatum. The Celtics were in the same spot last season, as they lost Game 5 at home against the Milwaukee Bucks, then had to go on the road for Game 6. Tatum played 43 minutes, shot 17-of-32 from the field, and finished with 46 points in a legendary victory in Milwaukee. JT's doubters have been loud this series, and I'm looking for him to quiet the noise in Philly this evening.

The 25-year-old forward has enjoyed some incredible volume lately. He's taken at least 20 shots in three consecutive games, logging a 30.9% usage rate. In Game 5, that number ballooned to 39.8 USG%, where Tatum took 27 FGA and 13 FTA. Despite his inefficiency, JT still finished with 36 points in Game 6. In a true do-or-die situation for the Celtics, the Duke product should see all the playing time and scoring volume he can handle.

Tatum scored at least 29 points in 24 of 36 games seeing 38+ minutes this season, averaging 30.9 PPG in these games (he should play 42-44 minutes tonight, as long as this one stays close). Additionally, JT dropped 30+ points in 39 of 56 games when taking at least 20 FGA this season, averaging 32.6 PPG. And he finished just a bucket short of his line nine times, scoring 27+ points in 46 of these 56 games.

The young superstar has notched 17 and 21 points in just the second half over his last two games. If he gets it going early, PJ Tucker and Tobias Harris will have their hands full. 20 field goal attempts is an incredibly safe floor for JT, as he's reached that mark in every playoff game where he's seen more than 20 minutes of action this year. I love his chances of posting his fourth 35+ point performance of the year against the Sixers tonight.
