NBA Playoffs Props Tonight: Target this Same-Game Parlay for Knicks vs. Heat Game 5 (5/10)

The Miami Heat and the Los Angeles Lakers can close out their second-round series on the road this evening and advance to the conference finals.

We'll be focusing on the Heat and Knicks for our Same Game Paraly tonight; tip-off is at 7:30 PM ET on TNT.

Let's jump into today's picks!

NBA Props - Wednesday, May 10

Bam Adebayo + RJ Barrett Same Game Parlay (-133) Click here to find out which sportsbook has the best odds for this pick

  • Leg 1: Bam Adebayo Under 21.5 Points
  • Leg 2: RJ Barrett Under 26.5 Points
  • Leg 3: RJ Barrett Under 7.5 Rebounds

We tried this exact same play on Monday and just missed it. RJ Barrett finished with 24 points and four rebounds. But Bam Adebayo hit a jumper with less than two minutes remaining in Game 4 to put Miami up nine points and finished with 23 for the game. After a close miss, I'm trying this same-game parlay again for Game 5 in Madison Square Garden.

Game 4 marked just the sixth time in 27 playoff games that Bam scored more than 21.5 points over the last two seasons. He finished with just 16 points and 15 points in Games 1 and 2, respectively. Over the last two seasons, he's averaging only 16.7 PPG against the Knicks. And he's putting up just 15.7 PPG in the playoffs. Adebayo has remained under this line in 23 of 29 games alongside Jimmy Butler since the all-star break (averaging 17.2 PPG), and I'm not expecting 17 field goal attempts from him tonight as he saw in Game 4.

RJ Barrett has now played 21 games alongside Jalen Brunson, Julius Randle, and Josh Hart. He's averaging 17.5 PPG and 4.0 RPG in these games, and he's remained under both of these SGP legs in all but one game. On top of this 20/21 hit rate when New York's lineup has been whole, these legs have cashed in 38 of Barrett's 47 games since January 1st. The fourth-year forward has barely crashed the glass in this series, so it's really just the 26.5 points alt-line that we're worried about. Even so, he hasn't scored 27-plus points in any game this postseason, and I'm not expecting his first one to come tonight.
