The baseball guy felt like randomly betting on some basketball tonight.

Golden State Warriors vs. Los Angeles Lakers Game 5 Pick

0.5u - Golden State Warriors Halftime/Final -150 is currently the best odds. Click here to find out which sportsbook has the best odds for this pick

This is also known as a double result or 1st Half/Full Game. Essentially we just need the Golden State Warriors to lead at halftime and win the game. This feels a lot safer than taking them -7 or betting on crazy juice on the moneyline at -350.

Golden State Warriors vs. Los Angeles Lakers Game 5 Prediction

We’re only going half a unit because the playoffs are full of uncertainty this year. With that being said, this series was nearly a pick 'em before Game 1 so for the Los Angeles Lakers to win in five games would be a huge shock. Golden State has plenty of playoff experience and will lay it all on the line in front of their home crowd to extend the series.

Steph Curry blowing a 3-1 lead to LeBron James is the biggest stain on his career, and he now has the opportunity to do it back to him. Now I’m not saying that will happen, but tonight feels like a night where the Warriors come out hot. The Warriors are heavy favorites for a reason, and the public seems to have the money evenly split, which I like.

The Warriors are a significantly better home team than road team. Golden State went 33-8 at home this year, and I don’t expect the Lakers to take two against the splash bros in the Chase Center. Let's have some fun watching hoops tonight, let's roll!
