NBA Playoffs Props Today: Two Props to Target for Nuggets vs. Suns Game 2 (5/1)

The Denver Nuggets punched the Phoenix Suns right in the mouth in Game 1. Denver took a commanding 17-point lead at halftime and remained in the driver's seat after the break.

They enter as 4-point favorites for tonight's 10:00 PM ET tip-off, as they try to take a 2-0 lead over the Suns in Round 2.

Let's jump into today's picks!

NBA Prop Picks - Monday, May 1

Kevin Durant + Jamal Murray Same Game Parlay (-130) Click here to find the best odds

  • Leg 1: Kevin Durant 25+ Points
  • Leg 2: Jamal Murray 18+ Points
  • Leg 3: Jamal Murray 4+ Assists

This SGP was a sweat-free, 3rd Quarter cash in Game 1, so we'd be crazy not to jump on this tonight. Kevin Durant and Jamal Murray have each been in peak form throughout these playoffs, and their coaches have been leaning on them heavily as a result.

Murray is playing 38.2 minutes per game thus far this postseason, while KD has played 42.5 minutes per game. Even in a blowout victory in Game 2, Murray played 37 minutes and KD saw 36 minutes of action. With an incredibly safe floor, I love these alt-lines even more.

Denver's 26-year-old guard has finished with 18+ points and 4+ assists in 27 of 30 games when seeing 35+ minutes this season. He's posted stellar averages of 24.5 PPG and 7.1 APG in these games and is putting up 28.3 PPG this postseason. Meanwhile, Durant has dropped 25+ in 36 of 38 games seeing 35+ minutes this season, averaging 31.3 PPG. All of these legs are 6-for-6 this postseason, so look for the stars to continue to dominate tonight.

Denver Nuggets Under 20.5 Free Throws Made (-105) Click here to find the best odds

The Nuggets attempted just 15 free throws in Game 1, converting 13 of them. Denver has been an incredible offensive team all season long, but they haven't needed trips to the line to score.

This under has cashed in 73 of their 88 games (83.0%) this season, where they've averaged just 16.7 free throws made per game. Plus, after Game 1, this has been a successful play in 4 of 5 games vs. Phoenix.

In 65 total games with both Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray active, this has cashed in 53 of them. When the team has been fully healthy, the offense has revolved around Murray's elite shot-making and Jokic's incredible blend of scoring and playmaking. Ultimately, this has led to the fourth-fewest free throws made of any team this season. I'm a believer in the under once again.
