NBA Playoffs Props Tonight: Two Picks to Target for Friday (4/28)
NBA Playoffs Props Tonight: Two Picks to Target for Friday (4/28)
The Los Angeles Lakers and the Golden State Warriors are aiming to close out their first-round series at home tonight. With a head-to-head matchup between these two squads looming in Round 2, they're each expected to take care of business tonight.
We're locked in on a play for each game, as the Warriors and Kings kick things off at 8:00 PM ET, while the Lakers and Grizzlies tip off at 10:30 PM ET.
Let's jump into today's picks!
Friday, April 28 NBA Props
LeBron James Under 2.5 Threes Made -135 is currently the best odds. Click here to find out which sportsbook has the best odds for this pick
LeBron James is one of the greatest playoff performers in NBA history. But his recent shooting slump has prevented him from posting the LeBron scoring numbers we're used to seeing in the postseason.
King James has made less than three three-pointers in 42 of his 60 games this season, shooting just 30.8% from deep and making only 2.1 per game. With an opportunity to close out the Grizzlies tonight, I expect LeBron to be ultra-aggressive with a trip to Round 2 on the line. This should mean more looks at the rim than he's seen in the last few games.
LeBron is shooting just 6-for-36 (16.7%) from downtown in the series, including 1-for-11 (9.1%) in the Lakers' two home games. Overall, he's cashed this in five of six games against Memphis this season, and I'm looking for the King to live in the paint tonight.
Warriors-Kings Same Game Parlay -135 is currently the best odds. Click here to find out which sportsbook has the best odds for this pick
Leg 1: Andrew Wiggins 12+ Points
Leg 2: Malik Monk 2+ Assists
Leg 3: Golden State Warriors ML
The Golden State Warriors can smell a series victory. De'Aaron Fox is playing through an avulsion fracture on a finger on his shooting hand. The Splash Brothers have heated up. Draymond Green, Andrew Wiggins, and Kevon Looney are all playing fantastic basketball. And the Dubs return to the Chase Center tonight, where they are 35-8 this season.
As for Andrew Wiggins, he's scored at least 15 points in 21 of his 22 games, seeing at least 32 minutes this season. He's averaged 21.0 PPG in these games. And he scored 12+ points in 53 of 58 games seeing at least 32 minutes last season. Wiggs has scored 17+ points in all eight games vs. Sacramento this season (21.5 PPG), and he should get the job done this evening.
Meanwhile, Malik Monk is averaging 3.4 assists in 28.5 minutes per game in this series. He played more than 15 minutes in 74 games this season. He finished with 2+ assists in 70 of these 74 games, averaging 4.0 APG. He's recorded 2+ assists in all eight of his games against the Warriors, too, averaging 4.1 APG. I'm expecting Monk to see minutes in the high 20s again, and multiple assists should not be a problem for him in this one.
