NBA Playoffs Props Tonight: Two Player Props to Target for Wednesday (4/26)

With four fantastic Game 5s on tap for tonight, we're diving into a pair of player props.

The Golden State Warriors have an opportunity to take a 3-2 lead before heading home for Game 6. This game tips off at 10:00 PM ET. Meanwhile, the Miami Heat have an opportunity to defy all odds and close the Milwaukee Bucks out on the road this evening; this one tips off at 9:30 PM ET.

Let's jump into today's picks!

Wednesday, April 26 NBA Props

Andrew Wiggins Over 17.5 Points -115 is currently the best odds. Click here to find out which sportsbook has the best odds for this pick

Andrew Wiggins has been money all series long. We got hooked on this prop in Game 4 on Sunday when he finished with 18 points on the nose. But, thankfully, this line is now 17.5, not 18.5, which makes this prop impossible to pass up.

Wiggs played 38 minutes on Sunday despite Draymond Green's return to the lineup. He's scored 17+ points in all seven of his games against the Kings this season, averaging 21.7 PPG in these contests. Wiggins' 12 field goal attempts last game were his lowest in this series. In fact, that was his only game against Sacramento this season, where he took fewer than 16 shots.

Klay Thompson and Jordan Poole both shot the lights out in Game 4, shooting a combined 17-for-30 from the field and 6-for-15 from three. It's unlikely that we see both of these guys go nuts again tonight, so I'm looking for Wiggins to pick up some of that slack and return to the increased usage he enjoyed earlier in the series.

Jimmy Butler Under 29.5 Points -110 is currently the best odds. Click here to find out which sportsbook has the best odds for this pick

I promise - I'm not crazy. You probably don't believe me, but that's fine. I'm not insane. As awesome as the "Playoff Jimmy" phenomenon is, there is a "Playoff Jimmy Hangover" piece to the puzzle that has not been mentioned in recent discussions.

Butler had one of the greatest playoff performances in the history of basketball on Monday night. He dropped 56 points, shooting 19-for-28 from the field and 15-for-18 from the free throw line. But I wouldn't count on him shooting 28 times tonight. And I certainly wouldn't expect him to get to the line 18 times.

Since the 2020 NBA Postseason, we've seen Jimmy play the game after a 35+ point performance nine times. He's scored fewer than 30 points in eight of these nine games! As great as Jimmy is, it's so difficult to follow up one legendary scoring performance with another just 48 hours later. With their backs against the wall, I'm expecting Milwaukee's defense to tighten up tonight and do all they can to hold Butler under 30 points in Game 5.
