NBA Playoffs Props for Today: Two Props to Target for Sunday's Slate (4/23)

We have an unbelievable Sunday afternoon of NBA games lined up for today. The New York Knicks are hosting Game 4 against the Cleveland Cavaliers, while the Golden State Warriors continue to claw back into their series against the Sacramento Kings.

We have a player prop to lock in from each of these games, which may be the weekend's two best.

Let's jump into today's picks!

Sunday, April 23 NBA Props

Julius Randle Under 23.5 Points (-115) (Bet $115 to Collect $215) DraftKings has the best odds for this one

Julius Randle had an unbelievable regular season for the New York Knicks. His 25.1 points per game were a new career-best. And, he was named an Eastern Conference All-Star for the second time in three years.

The playoffs have been a different story so far. In three games, he's scored 19, 22, and 11 points, shooting 32.7% from the field and 29.6% from three-point range. It's unclear how much of these struggles can be attributed to Randle's sprained ankle, which occurred just 17 days before Game 1. I believe his movement has looked incredibly normal and that his struggles can be mostly attributed to Evan Mobley.

Cleveland's DPOY candidate hasn't given Randle anything. The two-time all-star is scoring just 19.8 PPG in eight games against Mobley, cashing this under in 7 of 8 games. Julius is shooting just 41.9% on two-point field goal attempts in these matchups, which is well below his 55.3% mark on twos this season.

These struggles cannot be chalked up to jump-shooting variance. This line is just too high with the 7-footer across from Randle, so I will keep taking the under for as long as it's offered at this spot. And, with RJ Barrett showing out in Game 3, he could take on an even larger role today, which would take some scoring volume away from Julius Randle in a brutal matchup.

Andrew Wiggins Over 18.5 Points (-110) (Bet $110 to Collect $210) Get the best odds at FanDuel

The Sacramento Kings still do not have an answer for Andrew Wiggins. The Golden State forward has scored 20-plus points in 6 of his last 7 meetings with the Kings, averaging 22.7 PPG during this stretch.

In Game 2, he finished with 22 points in 39 minutes. In Game 3, he dropped 20 points in 34 minutes before sitting the game's final three minutes once it was already decided in the Warriors' favor. I'm surprised this line hasn't been bumped higher after it closed at 18.5 on Thursday night; Wiggs is yet to show us any signs that he won't drop 20 in a game where he sees enough playing time.

The 34 minutes he played in Game 3 seem like a safe floor, which is awesome for our chances here. In 16 games where he's seen at least 34 minutes this season, Wiggins has scored 18+ points in 14 of 16 games. He's averaging 21.6 PPG in this 16-game sample and he's averaging 23.2 points per 36 minutes vs. Sacramento this season.

With all of the attention the Kings are forced to give Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson defensively, Wiggs can slip through the cracks as he faces less adept defenders. Look for another big game from him today.
