NBA Props for Tonight: 3 Props to Target for Thunder vs. Timberwolves (4/14)

The final two games of the NBA Play-In Tournament are on the schedule for tonight's NBA slate. There's a ton of value to be had in player props this evening, so we'll be keying in on the late game this evening.

The Timberwolves are hosting the Thunder for tonight's contest; tip-off is at 9:30 PM ET. And we've got two props ready to go.

Let's jump into today's picks!

Friday, April 14 NBA Props

Jaylin Williams Over 5.5 Rebounds (-128) (Bet $128 to collect $228) Best odds available at FanDuel; click here to bet

Jaylin Williams played a surprisingly huge role in Oklahoma City's win over the New Orleans Pelicans on Wednesday night. The rookie starting center played 32 minutes as Thunder head coach Mark Daigneault opted for an incredibly tight rotation. OKC's rotation featured just five players seeing at least 20 minutes and just seven players seeing at least 12 minutes. This should keep Williams locked into a large role against Karl-Anthony Towns and Rudy Gobert this evening.

The absence of Kenrich Williams has been a major reason for Jaylin Williams' larger role. He's played at least 25 minutes in eight games since Kenrich was removed from the lineup on March 1st due to a wrist injury after playing 25+ minutes just four times in his previous 29 games.

The rookie center has played 20+ minutes in 20 games this season. He's reached this over in 16 of these 20 games, averaging 7.3 RPG. Plus, he finished with at least five rebounds in 19 of these 20 games. I'd pencil him in for anywhere between 24 and 32 minutes again tonight, which should lead to him hitting the glass for us with a playoff berth on the line.

Josh Giddey + Jalen Williams Same Game Parlay (-125) (Bet $125 to collect $225) Best odds available at FanDuel; click here to bet

Leg 1: Josh Giddey 14+ Points

Leg 2: Josh Giddey 6+ Rebounds

Leg 3: Jalen Williams 10+ Points

Leg 4: Jalen Williams 2+ Assists

Please don't be confused. We're rolling with the OTHER Jalen Williams along with Josh Giddey in this SGP. This combo has been absolutely money lately, and this is another excellent way to take advantage of OKC's tighter rotation.

Giddey played 42 minutes on Wednesday night, and J-Dub was not far behind, logging 40 minutes of action. Giddey was incredibly impressive, posting 31 points and nine rebounds in his first career postseason game, while J-Dub finished with a rather pedestrian 11 points and two assists.

Even if we don't get 40-42 minutes of playing time for these guys, they should still play enough to get the job done. Giddey has recorded 14+ PTS and 6+ REB in 35 of 39 games when seeing 32+ minutes this season, averaging 19.3 PPG and 9.6 RPG in these games. Meanwhile, the Santa Clara product has recorded 10+ PTS and 2+ AST in 31 of 35 games seeing 32+ minutes this season, averaging 18.5 PPG and 3.9 APG. The Thunder will need these guys to step up alongside Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, and I love their chances to show out against the T-Wolves.

Oklahoma City Thunder Over 20.5 Assists (-115) (Bet $115 to collect $215) Best odds available at DraftKings; click here to bet

This play is under the "Team Props" tab on DraftKings. And, if I'm being honest, I don't know how we're getting this line. The Thunder have shared the ball well all season long. After Shai, they trot out an incredibly balanced attack that starts with shot creation and ball movement by Giddey and Jalen Williams.

After finishing with 25 assists in their win over New Orleans, OKC has cashed this over in 67 of 83 games this season (80.7%). They're averaging 24.4 APG and are entering this contest with at least 21 assists in nine of their last ten games.

This matchup also offers a perfect fast-paced environment that should lead to additional possessions and more scoring. This over has cashed in 28 of OKC's 30 games against teams that rank top 10 in pace (the Thunder are fourth, and the T-Wolves are seventh). In four meetings with Minnesota, they finished with 22, 24, 26, and 29 assists this season. Plus, the Wolves allowed their opponents to reach this over in 71 of their 83 games (85.5%).
