Wednesday, April 5 NBA Player Props

Immanuel Quickley Over 5.5 Assists (-130) (Bet $130 to collect $230) Best odds available at DraftKings; click here to bet

Immanuel Quickley Double-Double (+650) (Bet $100 to collect $750) Best odds available at DraftKings; click here to bet

The New York Knicks will be without Julius Randle and Jalen Brunson tonight. Randle remains out due to a sprained ankle, while Brunson rests for this road matchup against the Indiana Pacers. RJ Barrett is also listed on the Knicks' injury report with an illness and is in jeopardy of missing this contest, too.

These absences will open up enormous opportunities and offensive responsibilities for Immanuel Quickley. The third-year guard is enjoying a late-season breakout, averaging 20.1 points and 4.5 assists per game over his last 15 games. I'm expecting New York to rely on him heavily for offensive creation today, and he should see plenty of playing time.

Quickley has played in four career games without Randle, where he's seen 30+ minutes. He recorded at least ten assists in three of these four games, averaging 9.3 APG on 16.5 potential assists. And, in his last two games without Brunson, he finished with 7 and 9 assists, respectively.

IQ is also an underrated rebounder and should see more opportunities to crash the glass tonight. So, that gives us another avenue toward cashing his double-double prop even if he can't reach the 10-assist mark, as Quickley's had two games with 10+ rebounds over the last month. Against a fast-paced Pacers team that has struggled defensively, there's a ton of value in the Sixth Man of the Year favorite.

Andrew Nembhard Over 12.5 Points (-120) (Bet $120 to collect $220) Best odds available at FanDuel; click here to bet

While the Knicks will be without Julius Randle and Jalen Brunson tonight, Indiana will be missing Tyrese Haliburton and Chris Duarte yet again. Andrew Nembhard will continue to function as the team's lead ball handler, and he's had real success as a scorer in an increased role recently.

The rookie guard has scored at least 12 points in 10 of his last 12 games, averaging 15.7 PPG during this stretch. He's attempted at least 14 shots in four straight games, which is directly in line with his performance sans Haliburton all season.

Nembhard has played 25+ minutes in Haliburton's absence 16 times. He's scored 12+ points in 13 of these 16 games and 15+ points in 11 of 16 games, averaging 16.3 PPG. Indiana head coach Rick Carlisle is using this late-season stretch to develop his younger players, which means Nembhard should continue to see adequate volume.
