Friday, March 31 NBA Player Props

Jakob Poeltl Over 11.5 Points (-120) (Bet $120 to collect $220) Best odds available at FanDuel; click here to bet

Jakob Poeltl has been an excellent midseason addition for a previously center-less Raptors roster. Since getting settled into his new role with Toronto, he's scored at least 12 points in 14 of his last 18 games. The 7-foot-1 big man is averaging 15.0 points per game during this stretch.

If you're worried about tonight's matchup with Joel Embiid across from Poeltl, don't be. He's scored 17, 25, 13, and 16 in four games against Embiid over the last two seasons, good for an average of 17.8 PPG on 12 field goal attempts per game in this sample.

Fred VanVleet has made Poeltl's life significantly easier by setting him up on easy rolls to the paint. We saw Bismack Biyombo score 17 points on 8-for-12 shooting just six days ago, so Poeltl should have no issue converting in the paint tonight as long as he remains out of foul trouble.

Luguentz Dort Over 14.5 Points (-125) (Bet $125 to collect $225) Best odds available at DraftKings; click here to bet

Lu Dort has been part of the three-headed offensive attack that has kept the Thunder afloat in games without Shai Gilgeous-Alexander this season. Next to rookie Jalen Williams and second-year man Josh Giddey, Dort has scored 17.6 PPG in 13 games without Shai this season.

During Oklahoma City’s recent back-to-back stretch without Shai, Dort dropped 16 points in 33 minutes and 20 points in 38 minutes. And he’s scored at least 16 points in 10 of his 13 games without Shai this season.

The Indiana Pacers offer a perfect matchup for Dort, too. During the month of March, Indiana has ranked 5th in Pace and dead last in defensive rating over 14 games of action. Dort lit them up for 22 points in January and should thrive with extra opportunities headed his way tonight.

Andrew Nembhard Over 13.5 Points (-121) (Bet $121 to collect $221) Best odds available at Caesars; click here to bet

Andrew Nembhard has been Indiana's biggest beneficiary in the absence of Tyrese Haliburton lately. With the Pacers seemingly tanking and shutting down Haliburton and Myles Turner for many of their games down the stretch, Nembhard has been tasked with generating much more offense for the team.

In Nembhard's last eight games without Haliburton, he's averaged 17.4 PPG on 14.8 FGA while playing 33 minutes per game. He's scored 15+ points in seven of these eight contests while also hitting his Over 20.5 Points + Assists prop in seven of these eight.

Similar to Lu Dort, Nembhard will benefit from a likely high-scoring affair, as this game has the third-highest over/under on tonight's 13-game slate. Look for Nembhard to continue producing in the absence of Tyrese Haliburton this evening.
