This bet has made us too much money to turn our back on it. We are riding this bet until the wheels fall off. Denver has scored 15 first in games with Jokic in 18 of their last 21 games. That is absurd to start games that well on that consistent of a basis. Thursday's matchup is Sacramento, which doesn’t really scare me away. Since Sabonis has joined the team they are 2-2 on first to 15 which isn’t good enough to make me hop off the Nuggets train, we are riding this one until further notice, especially against teams that are 22-38.
Only having to pay -135 juice is nothing for the value this bet provides. These two teams already faced off and Nuggets won that as well 16-11 to open the game. I don't think the swap of Haliburton for Sabonis will be enough to make me think this game opens any different. Denver only being 4 point favorites in this game is why we’re getting this line and even that line is confusing. Sacramento in their last 2 games have been outscored by 31 points and Denver is on a 3 game winning streak with their most recent win being an upset against Golden State at the Chase Center.

I won’t bore you more with why I like this bet as I’ve already written numerous articles on this exact play but I will say this. If this bet loses tonight (it better not) then I hope to see no backlash towards these great men. Morris, Barton, Gordon, Jokic and Green have fought so hard for our cash time and time again and I refuse to criticize these angels. With that being said, it would be a lot cooler if they made it 19 of their last 22 and we get another green checkmark on Thursday. Let hope the gift that keeps on giving can give again.
