This is a classic case of “I’m not going to overthink this one." Atlanta just lost last night, and I don’t expect then to continue to lose tonight and form a losing streak. Max Fried is on the mound for them and Detroit only has four batters with any history against him, I expect a masterclass pitching performance from him.

In order to win this bet we need the offense to score as well. Reese Olson is pitching for Detroit, and although he had an impeccable start to the year, he is currently spiraling and coming back down to reality. Olson has allowed at least five runs in his last three games, and he hasn’t gone more than 5.1 innings pitched. Olson has allowed 10 and 12 hits in back to back games, and now gets a loaded Braves lineup.
I think Braves should have a lead after five innings here. It may only be a 2-1 lead, but a lead is a lead. Atlanta is better than their record and despite their injuries, I expect them to stay afloat in playoff talks, and be one of the better teams in this league. Hooray for fading my Tigers again, it has been profitable whenever we’ve done it lately. Let's roll!
