Minnesota Twins vs. New York Yankees Prediction: Can Marcus Stroman, Yankees Sweep the Twins?

Well, we have a smaller slate here as a lot of teams are traveling and getting ready for the weekend series as they usually are on Thursdays. Tonight, we are heading back to the Bronx as the Minnesota Twins close out their four game series with the Yankees and will look to avoid the dreaded sweep. On the flip side, New York looks to continue its dominance over Minnesota as they have for the last two decades.

Minnesota Twins vs. New York Yankees Prediction

The Yankees just annihilate the Twins, there really is no other way to put it. Even when the Twins were on their heater earlier in the season they got swept by the Yankees. They have been grossly outscored and out pitched as well; tonight should be no different. Pablo Lopez has the ball for the Twins sporting a 5.03 ERA on the road this season and the boys in pinstripes tagged him for ten hits a month ago.

On the flip side, Marcus Stroman has the ball and he has looked fantastic this season in my opinion. At 5-2 with a 2.73 ERA, the once young star turning towards a veteran is having an excellent season and throws the rock well at home. The Yankees are 20-8 at home, one of the best records in all of baseball and it's hard to ignore a 75% clip. I like the Yankees to stay hot and get the sweep here.
