Baltimore Orioles vs. Toronto Blue Jays Prediction: Will Jose Berrios, Blue Jays Struggle Against Orioles?

We are heading back to the diamond tonight for Wednesday Night Baseball as we have another loaded slate here in the middle of the week. Tonight, I want to head north to Ontario as the Toronto Blue Jays (28-32) host the Baltimore Orioles (39-20) in game three of this series at the Rogers Centre.

BALTIMORE ORIOLES VS. TORONTO BLUE JAYS PREDICTION

Baltimore has already secured at worst a tie in the series and will be looking to secure the win in this four game series here tonight as the Blue Jays look to salvage it here in front of their home crowd and look to establish some momentum with a chance to split the series before leaving town for a six game road trip.

I said it yesterday and I will say it again, when these boys are swinging the sticks I will ride with them under virtually every single circumstance. Baltimore has scored 29 runs in their last four games and are currently ranked third in the league for run differential at +88 trailing just Philly and New York. This entire lineup top to bottom is lethal, that is rare. I would take this Orioles lineup over the Los Angeles Dodgers head to head right now. Yeah, the Dodgers top four is insane but the Orioles actually has better numbers and they are still producing 7-9 at a strong rate.

The O's have rich history against Jose Berrios with 51 hits on 18 at bats for a .270/.336/.528 slash line on a substantial sample size. Toronto currently ranks 23rd in the league with a -45 run differential. I do not believe they have seen Albert Suarez yet but the young rookie has been great through his first two months in the bigs with a 1.57 ERA through 34.1 IP to go along with 29 K's and just seven runs.
