Well we haven't gone to the diamond for an article in a while with the NHL Playoffs hitting the most important part of it all but with such a lovely MLB slate tonight I gotta dive into a play I locked in this morning. Loaded slate here on a Friday night and we have some really strong spots to choose from so let's dive in.

Leg 1: Tampa Bay Rays vs. Baltimore Orioles Prediction
I feel like Tampa Bay has gotten their fair share of luck so far this week with the walkouts and heading to Camden Yards to win on the road tonight in game one is a tough ask. Tampa Bay beat up on Baltimore for years, now it is the O's turn to do the beating. Albert Suarez has only made five starts so far this season but has been impressive with a 1.53 ERA and spotless 2-0 record. On the flip side, Aaron Civale has the ball for the Rays and he has struggled this season sporting a 5.72 ERA and a 2-4 record. In 40 at bats against the O's, they are slashing .375/.390/.957 for a 1.348 OPS. The O's are in a prime spot here and rested.
Leg 2: Washington Nationals vs. Cleveland Guardians Prediction
Patrick Corbin Day! The Washington southpaw has the worst track record across all national league pitchers across the last three seasons and has rode that horse straight into 2024 sporting a 6.12 ERA so far on the season. Cleveland is four in OPS and against lefties and 5th for the long ball and Corbin struggles to keep the ball in the park. Tanner Bibbee is strong at home, great spot for the Guardians.
