Best MLB Home Run Bets: Lock In This Expert's Best MLB Player Prop Bets for Friday

None of our guys hit a home run yesterday, despite Tyler O'Neill's extra-base hit in the second inning for the Red Sox.

We'll get back to the drawing board for tonight's massive slate. Below are three home run props to consider.

May 3 Best MLB Home Run Props

Jack Suwinski to Hit a Home Run (+400) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

While the Pirates are playing the Rockies, they'll be home, not in Coors Field. However, I still like Jack Suwinski to go yard tonight.

Suwinski is a lefty hitter who has a .236 ISO and a .339 wOBA against righties since last season. He's also hit 36.5% of fly balls and just 28.7% of grounders while hitting 59.2% of hard contact and a 15.6% barrel percentage.

He'll face Cal Quantril of the Rockies. Quantril is a right-handed pitcher who has already allowed a .193 ISO and a wOBA of .342 to his first 64 lefties faced.

This is nothing new. Last season, Quantril gave up a .201 ISO and wOBA of .376 to 210 lefties. He's also allowed more than 27% of line drives to lefties since last year.

Take Suwinski to go deep at +400.

Brent Rooker to Hit a Home Run (+400) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

The Marlins will use lefty Ryan Weathers on the mound tonight. Weathers has already given up a .209 ISO and a wOBA of .391 to righties this year.

He's also allowed 28.6% of line drives and nearly 49% of hard contact to righties this season.

He's in line to face Brent Rooker of the Athletics, who has hit a .229 ISO and wOBA of .364 against his last 197 plate appearances against lefties.

In that time frame, Rooker has hit 34.2% of fly balls, 32.4% of line drives, 60.4% of hard contact, and a 14.4% barrel percenatge against lefties. He's also minimized grounders to 30.6% and has hit more line drives and fly balls against lefties than grounders.

We'll take our chance with Rooker.

Matt Olson to Hit a Home Run (+350) Click here to see which sportsbook has the best odds

The Dodgers will send Gavin Stone to the mound for the series opener against the Braves. Stone has held his first 109 batters to a .105 ISO and wOBA of .291, which is a bit surprising, especially considering Stone has only struck out 16.5% of batters and allowed 11% of walks.

Beyond that, Stone has induced below 40% of ground balls against lefties and has allowed more than 39% of line drives to them this year.

His stats will ultimately blow up eventually if this continues.

On the other hand, he'll take on Matt Olson of the Braves, who has hit a .326 ISO and wOBA of .430 since last season. Olson has launched 33.7% of fly balls against righties since last season and has hit 72.1% of hard contact with a 17.1% barrel percentage against righties since last year.
