This one truly will be no fun for me but I see value. Justin Verlander is all my all time favorite pitcher. With that being said, I see value on his under here. Verlander is now 41 years old and he still looks stellar. Houston should remain cautious with him and not stretch him out too much to avoid reinjury.

Last start we saw Verlander go exactly six innings and I think we see the same tonight. He faces a red hot Guardians team with plenty of experience against him. Cleveland has only allowed four pitchers of the 29 starters they have faced to pitch into the seventh inning.
I think Verlander puts together a solid start but finds himself in some pesky at bats where Cleveland batters are fouling the ball off and extending at bats. Verlander can go six innings, allow just one run and still cash us. We can win in a variety of ways. This is 100% worth the juice in my eyes. Let's roll!
