DONALD TRUMP (66.55%)

The former 45th president of the United States, Donald Trump, is quickly gaining momentum in the polls and betting markets to win the 2024 election. Over the past week, his odds have shortened from +125 to -105.

Meanwhile, the betting handle on Trump to win in 2024 has increased from 63.87 percent, to 66.5 percent. This gives the former president an implied probability of 51.2 percent to win the 2024 election, up from 44.44 percent last week.

JOE BIDEN (28.84%)

Current president Joe Biden may have seen his odds lengthen from +146 to +158 during the past week, however, the betting handle has increased from 26.8 percent to 28.84 percent.

Biden remains the clear-cut runner-up, ahead of Robert Kennedy Jr., Michelle Obama, and Gavin Newsom. His implied win probability is currently at 38.76 percent, which is 10 times more likely than presidential candidate Robert Kennedy Jr.

ROBERT KENNEDY JR. (4.61%)

The son of former U.S. Attorney general, Robert F. Kennedy, and nephew of U.S. president John F. Kennedy, Robert Kennedy Jr. has seen his betting odds lengthen from +2800 a week ago, down to their current value at +3900.

Kennedy is also getting half as much of the betting handle compared to last week. Previously, over nine percent of wagers were being placed on his ability to win the 2024 election. Now, the betting handle on RFK Jr. has dwindled down to 4.61 percent.

Running as an independent presidential candidate is a big factor explaining why there aren't more wagers and higher implied probability in the betting market. Trump and Biden are garnering at least 12 times the amount of wagers to win the 2024 presidential election, while oddsmakers are bearish on Kennedy's outlook in this race.
