Interest in betting on the 2020 Election broke countless records and saw millions and millions of dollars wagered around the world – and now those bettors are turning their attention to the 2024 Election.

Donald Trump's 2024 Presidential Election Odds

It may be looking increasingly likely that Donald Trump will leave the White House at the beginning of next year as his legal challenges continue to be dismissed, but according to the market gamblers don’t think it’s the last that we will see of him in the Oval Office.

Since 4th November, activity on the market has been steadily increasing and a huge share of those bets have gone in favor of the 45th President to return as the 47th President.

A huge 45.8% of the total wagers placed during that time have gone behind Trump, making him by far the most popular choice. VP-elect Kamala Harris is the next best-backed candidate with just 12.96%, while President-elect Joe Biden comes in a close third with 11.13%.

Interestingly, Ivanka Trump comes in fourth with 3.4% of total bets – ahead of outgoing VP Mike Pence on 3.19%.

Trump’s favoritism with bettors is somewhat surprising, given that oddsmakers have him as third favorite with odds of +700. Harris has the best odds in the market with +400, while Biden is narrowly behind on +450.

Other names which appear near the top of the list are Nikki Haley - +1200 and fourth favorite – and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez - +2000 and sixth-favorite.

And despite his impressive performance in this year’s Democrat primaries, Pete Buttigieg odds of +3300 means he is considered less likely to be the next POTUS than Dwayne Johnson, who is just behind AOC on +2000.

OddsChecker spokesperson Pete Watt: “Trump’s ascension, literally and figuratively against all the odds, in 2016 have clearly made oddsmakers wary of the fact that individuals with increasingly varied backgrounds may feel more confident about their Presidential chances.

This is exemplified by the fact that other names such as Tucker Carlson (+3300) and Kanye West (+6600) have much shorter odds than these types of personalities would have had just four years ago.”
