First US Presidential Election Debate Betting Data

We reported to you yesterday that over the previous seven days, Donald Trump had accounted for a dominant 65% of all bets placed in the first US Presidential Election debate betting market, despite being made the underdog by oddsmakers. However, in the last 24 hours this has all changed.

The betting breakdown has now swung the other way, with bettors now backing Joe Biden to come out on top tonight. 64.71% of total bets have been wagered on Joe Biden in the past 24 hours and this behaviour is very much mirrored in how the odds are shaping up for tonight.

Recent revelations on Trump's alleged tax-avoidance could well be on the minds of bettors as this will no doubt give Joe Biden extra ammunition against his rival tonight.
