It’s going to be a very busy week in the world of US election betting, with wagers expected to ramp up around the first US election debate tomorrow night. The first presidential debate between Donald Trump and Joe Biden is set to take place tomorrow night at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.

Over the last week, Donald Trump has accounted for a massive 65% of all bets placed in the first US presidential debate betting market. Despite being the bookmakers overwhelming favorite, Joe Biden has accounted for 35% of bets in the same time period.

First US Presidential Election Debate Novelty Betting Markets

There are plenty of bookmakers around the world taking bets on the first US Presidential election debate, with each taking their own slant on market. One Australian bookmaker, are offering a 55/1 (+5500) on Joe Biden falls asleep during the debate, which implies there’s a 1.8% chance of this happening. To put those odds into perspective, the bookmaker thinks there’s more chance of Joe Biden falling asleep in the first debate then Philadelphia Eagles winning the Super Bowl.
