PGA Power Rankings: Top 5 Golfers for 2024 Myrtle Beach Classic
PGA Power Rankings: Top 5 Golfers for 2024 Myrtle Beach Classic
For the first time in the history of the PGA Tour, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, will host an event, and there is $4 million in prize money on the lineup for grabs. With no elevated status, and the second major of the year just around the corner, most of the world’s very best have decided to instead play the Wells Fargo Championship.
That has created one of the most wide-open fields in recent memory, however, as a field of 132 is set to battle it out starting Thursday. Let’s take a closer look at the five guys I like to rise to the top come Sunday afternoon in Myrtle.

The Dunes Golf and Beach Club, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
Measuring 7,347 yards, the Par 71 Dunes Golf and Beach Club, in Myrtle Beach shouldn’t overwhelm these guys this week in the slightest. A Robert Trent Jones-designed course, Dunes has ocean views on many of the holes and is renowned for some of the most challenging holes in the Carolinas.
