Ezekiel Elliott Next Team Odds: Chargers, Bills Most Likely Landing Spots for Star Running Back

Ezekiel Elliot has played in Dallas since he was drafted back in 2016. After years with the organization, they have decided it's time to part ways. Where will he go next?

Zeke has been one of the most talented running backs in the league. Throughout his seven seasons with the Cowboys, Elliott was a beast on the ground, recording 1,881 runs for 8,262 yards and 68 touchdowns. He also was consistent through the air as well, logging 305 receptions for 2,336 yards and adding 12 touchdowns.

While Tony Pollard clearly surpassed Zeke skill-wise this past year for the Cowboys, the Ohio State product will still make a tremendous addition to whichever team he ends up joining. What's looking like the most realistic option at this point? The sportsbooks see there being four realistic options.

Ezekiel Elliott Next Team Odds

The Los Angeles Chargers are currently seen as the favorite to land the star, according to the sportsbooks. Los Angeles is given +275 odds, or an implied 26.7% chance for Elliott to sign. The Chargers are trying to figure out a plan moving forward with their star RB, Austin Ekler. Ekler requested a trade in hopes of receiving a bigger paycheck. If Ekler is out of the picture for the Chargers, Elliott would slide nicely in as RB No. 1. Zeke and Joshua Kelley would make a great duo running the backfield.

The Buffalo Bills are seen as the next team likely to land the running back with +350 odds or an implied 22.2% chance. With Buffalo's star back Devin Singletary unsigned for 2023, Zeke would make sense on Buffalo's offense. If Elliott could step in and provide an extra set of legs for Josh Allen, the QB wouldn't have to chance running and getting hurt as often.

Then there's the Kansas City Chiefs. Why should Zeke go to the Chiefs? Isiah Pacheco just put together one incredible season for KC and is clearly No. 1 on the depth chart. If Elliott went to the Chiefs, he wouldn't be an RB 1. This team is hot, and who wouldn't want an experienced veteran who still has some juice in the tank? Sitting at +450 odds, there's an 18% chance Zeke heads to KC.

The Baltimore Ravens are seen as another realistic option for Zeke. With +550 odds, the Ravens have an implied 15.5% chance of signing the star. JK Dobbins compiled a mediocre 2022-2023 campaign for the Ravens, rushing 92 times for 520 yards and two touchdowns through eight games. Baltimore is in need of a refresh as it's starting to look more and more like Lamar Jackson won't be staying. Can they land Zeke?
