The Philadelphia Eagles are, and have been, favored as the Super Bowl 57 winner since day one. Although the Chiefs were initially favored to win, the odds quickly changed within minutes to Philly winning the Big Game.

Philadelphia finished their 2022-2023 regular season as the NFC No. 1 seed, with a 14-3 record. What's made the Eagles so dominant this year is their talent on both sides of the ball.

The Eagles are led by signal-caller Jalen Hurts, who completed 306 passes for 3,701 yards and 22 touchdowns. He also added 165 runs for 760 yards and 13 yards. The 24-year-old put on one monstrous season. None of this would be possible without his offensive weapons, specifically A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith, Dallas Goedert and Miles Sanders.

Smith recorded 95 catches for 1,196 yards and seven touchdowns through his regular season, and added eight passes for 97 yards and a touchdown during the 2023 post season. Jason Kelce and the Eagles offensive line have been solid throughout the regular season, and lit up even more during the playoffs.

Philly's defense was decently strong this year as well. Haason Reddick logged 16 sacks and forced fumbles for the Birds, and should have another successful night as QB Patrick Mahomes is dealing with an ankle injury. As a defensive team, the Eagles totaled 78 sacks throughout their regular and post-season. Although the linebacker position was weaker, their secondary was remarkable and should hold off Kansas City's receivers.

Between Philly's offense and their defense, the Eagles excelled this year. It's not a surprise to see the Eagles favored to win the Super Bowl, but you can't count out on Patrick Mahomes.

The betting line for the 2023 Super Bowl favors Philadelphia at -1.5, and the Chiefs are listed as the underdogs at +1.5. This line has been consistent now for the past week as sportsbooks see this being a close game between two-star QBs.

Patrick Mahomes will be making his third Super Bowl appearance, and this time he's entering with a stronger offensive line. The signal-caller just received the NFL MVP award and will bring that momentum going into tonight's Big Game. The dynamic duo of Mahomes and Travis Kelce has been absurd all season and will continue tonight, especially as Patrick's not one hundred percent from his ankle injury.

Yes, the Eagles are listed as -1.5 favorites, however, oddsmakers think this is going to be one incredibly close game.
