AFC South Odds: Jaguars Given a 29% to Win the Division After Hot Start
After three weeks of the NFL season, the Jacksonville Jaguars are leading the AFC South. That's right, the team that had the first overall pick the last two years is leading the division with a 2-1 record.
Jacksonville lost a tough one on opening day, 28-22 against Washington but then bounced back nicely in back-to-back weeks. They dismantled the Indianapolis Colts 24-0 at home and then went on the road and beat up on the Chargers 38-10.
They currently have the second-best odds to win the AFC South. Let's break it down with a look at the AFC South odds.

AFC South Odds: Jaguars +240 (Bet $100 to win $240)
The Jaguars trail only the Indianapolis Colts for the best odds to win the AFC South. Heck, the Jaguars have better odds than the number one seed from last year the Tennessee Titans.
The Jaguars are well-coached, which can make all the difference in the world. Doug Pederson, with two wins under his belt, is now tied for fifth in Jaguars history for wins as a coach. It's bizarre but it's the truth.
One of the big things that helps too is Trevor Lawrence taking that step. He has a 69.4 completion percentage, six touchdowns, one pick, 257.3 yards per game, and a 103.1 rating. He's been excellent.
James Robinson has also been fantastic. He has 230 yards and three touchdowns in the first two-three games of the year. His dominance has helped the Jags up to the top 10 in yards and touchdowns on the ground.
That's not even getting to the defense. Jacksonville has allowed the fewest rushing yards and touchdowns in the NFL. Don't look now but Trevor Lawrence looks legit, Doug Pederson is a good coach, and this team is dare I say...fun?
AFC South Odds: Colts +115 (Bet $100 to win $115)
The Indianapolis Colts are still the favorite to win the division after pulling off an upset win over the Kansas City Chiefs. The offense still hasn't looked great through the first three weeks of the season.
40 points in three weeks is rough. Matt Ryan and the Colts are averaging 13.3 points per game which is second fewest in the league only to Dallas who hasn't played yet in Week 3.
Ryan has four picks so far on the year and has only a 77.2 rating and Jonathan Taylor has gotten off to a slow start. Sure, they could turn it around but by no means are the Colts this lock that everyone thought that they would be before the season started.
