As we get into Friday, I wanted to start back up a new tradition of mine, parlay Friday. There are typically five or six games on the slate, where we select one pick from each for one larger overall play. Today we have six games in the main European Leagues, and we will pick one from each and make that our overall play. We have teams like Bayern Munich, Marseille, Valencia, Villareal, and Nottingham Forest all in action. Can we cook up a monster parlay?
Soccer Parlay Picks Today
For the first pick, we will head into the Bundesliga. Bayern Munich faces off against Werder Bremen in the first game of the Bundesliga season. I really like the over 3.5 goals here. Bayern goes over this line in 70% of their Bundesliga games, and expect them to be angry after their loss in the Super Cup.
The second pick and third pick are going to be a pair of "both teams to score" in England. I like the bet in both the Leeds United versus West Brom match and the Nottingham Forest versus Sheffield United match. Forest and Sheffield have combined for the "BTTS" in five straight matchups. West Brom are averaging an 80% "BTTS" hit rate in the last season as well.
Marseille scored over 1.5 goals in over 60% of their Ligue 1 matches last season. They finished third in Ligue 1 and scored the fourth most goals in the season. I like them against Metz, who are newly promoted and struggled the last time they came into the French League.
Finally, we end in Spain. I like Villareal to beat their opponents, Mallorca, who finished 16th last season and were one of the worst teams in Spain all year. The last leg is the under in the Valencia game. Las Palmas are a newly promoted side and are going over 2.5 in only 20% of their matches, while Valencia is only going over in 40% of their games.
