Well we are back for Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Finals and we are heading up north for this one as the Florida Panthers and Edmonton Oilers are set to do battle at the Rogers Place in Alberta, Canada. It is desperation time for the Oilers as they trail 2-0 in the series and are at a serious risk to lose all chance of winning the Cup. On the flip side, Florida was better in Game 2 then they were in Game 1 and with a win tonight, they can almost start writing their names on the Cup.

There really just isn't anything that has given me a reason to believe Conor McDavid and Edmonton are going to flip the switch now. They look really banged up and just seem off, they are one of the best offensive teams in the league but they have not been able to solve the riddle that is this Florida Panthers squad and Sergei Bobrovsky. They have scored just one goal through six periods and each game, things got worse as time went on.
Sergei has been on point start to finish and the boys in front of him play like a boa constrictor, their grasp just gets tighter and tighter as the game progresses and by the third period, they are choking you out. They have completely smothered this team and Bob is playing as the clear and obvious Conn Smythe Trophy favorite.
I know Edmonton is going to throw the kitchen sink at the Cats tonight and if I had to pick one game in the series for the Oilers to win it would be this one but I am not hopping off the train, roll Cats.
