Edmonton Oilers vs. Dallas Stars Prediction: Will Stuart Skinner Struggle in Game 2 Against Stars?
Saturday Night Puck! We are back for the second game of the Western Conference Finals as the Dallas Stars host the Edmonton Oilers in a crucial Game 2 that very well could decide the series very early. Edmonton led late in third in Game 1 before Dallas forced overtime, where it took a double OT effort from Connor McDavid to call game.

Edmonton Oilers vs. Dallas Stars Prediction
I said could decide it, not will. Dallas has lost seven consecutive Game 1's (really crazy when you think about it), and has won six out of the seven of those series. They also dropped both games on home ice in round one against the Defending Stanley Cup Champion Vegas Golden Knights before taking that series in seven games. Losing tonight does not mean they have lost the series but it makes things significantly harder and it is something they want to avoid at all costs; they had their 0-2 series win already, I can assure you they are not looking to do it twice.
With that said, Edmonton consistently has fallen short of where they want to be and they made it pretty clear early on this season it is Cup or Bust. Yes, you can afford to lose tonight but if you do you already gave up your advantage in the series and the momentum as well. Yeah they will have home ice for game three and four but Dallas is the best road team in the NHL. I think the pace is off the charts in this one and Skinner struggles more than he did in game one. If they score a single goal in the first period last game, I think this number would have easily cleared so I will bite again.
