Tuesday night puck! We are heading back to Amerant Bank Arena for Game 5 of this second round rematch in the Eastern Conference side of the bracket as the Boston Bruins trail the Florida Panthers three games to one and face elimination here tonight. The Cats stole game four to solidify their lead in the series and will look to close it out in the first chance at an elimination game in the series.

Boston Bruins vs. Florida Panthers Game 5 Prediction
While I would say there is good reason to expect Boston to throw the kitchen sink at Florida here tonight and I expect an all out effort in an attempt to survive, I think this is a really tough spot for Boston. They needed Game 4 and had the lead in the third period before blowing it on home ice to Florida and allowing the Cats to have a chokehold on the series. The last thing Florida wants is to allow Boston to win tonight and go back to the TD Garden with a chance to force Game 7 - they know this story first hand, they legitimately did the same thing to Boston a year ago in the first round.
I somewhat lean the over, especially when you add in the empty net factor but could also see this game being played extremely tight. Irregardless, Matthew Tkachuk and the Cats have outplayed Boston the majority of the last three games and outscored them 15-5; Florida will close this series out tonight if they do not want to flirt with fire and I am sure they would like some rest before the conference final.
