The Colorado Avalanche absolutely steamrolled the Tampa Bay Lightning in Game 2 to take a 2-0 Series lead. The two-time defending Stanley Cup champs were embarrassed in a 7-0 blowout. Cale Makar and Val Nichushkin both scored 2 goals and Darcy Kuemper made 16 saves for the shutout. Game 2 was one of the most lopsided Stanley Cup Final games in recent memory. With that being said, I still don't think the Bolts are out of this series just yet.

While Colorado is undefeated on the road in the playoffs this season, Tampa has been no pushover at home. The Bolts are 7-1 at home where they average 3.6 goals per game and they allow 2.0 goals per game. Andrei Vasilesvkiy has a 1.69 goals against average and a .947 save percentage. Despite being down 2-0, where they have been before in these playoffs, the Bolts have the edge in net. Darcy Kuemper has played 4 road games in the playoffs and he has a 2.41 goals against average and .901 save percentage. Getting out of the altitude should help the Lighting and I am expecting a different game from them at home. The Lighting were embarrassed in Game 2 and I think they have a win in them tonight. Tampa may not be able to overcome a 2-0 hole this time around but I do think they have some fight left in them. Look for the Bolts to pressure Kuemper and the Avalanche tonight, they will certainly generate more than 4 the high danger scoring chances they had in Game 2. I'll back the Bolts and the Over 4.5 in a combo bet at plus money tonight.
